For one of the biggest national celebrations in Europe, The 4 Brussels ESN sections are organizing a trip to Amsterdam, ‘the city of freedom’, to celebrate the famous KING’S DAY.
King’s day or ‘Koningsdag’ in Dutch is a big national event (dating back to the 1880’s) where celebrations take place all over The Netherlands. The Dutch celebrate the birthday of their King (Willem-Alexander) , but things don’t stay as neat and royal as it may sound.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to visit and enjoy the beautiful city of Amsterdam in combination with a fantastic atmosphere, some crazy parties, and of course a good beer (or two..). All this in the amazing company of ESN Brussels and a lot of Erasmus students! An experience that shouldn’t be missing on your ‘to do’ list.
So make sure to dress in orange, and join us on this joyful trip to the capital of The Netherlands.
